Sierra Designs is a well renowned outdoor brand that specializes in outdoor equipment and apparel. Founded over 40 years ago by George Marks and Bob Swanson in Point Richmond, CA, their goal was to design outdoor equipment that would enhance people´s outdoor experience. Built from their passion for the outdoors, Sierra Designs tents, sleeping bags and accessories have traveled to the world´s highest peaks, withstood over 230 mph winds, and stood in the face of torrential downpours. Today, Sierra Designs remains dedicated to using their outdoor experiences to create better products in order to make the outdoor experience that much more enjoyable.

Innovative designs and use of cutting-edge technologies are the driving force behind Sierra Designs. Beginning in 1965, Sierra Designs introduced the first 60/40 down-blend mountain parka that has become an essential piece for every mountaineer. In addition, they also produced the double mummy sleeping bag, which became the logical choice for maximum togetherness when camping in the late 1960´s. Since then, Sierra Designs introduced the Airflex Tents which were the first to incorporate a combination of bent and straight poles. Developing creative, new tent technologies such as the SuperSeal Floor and DAC Featherlite NSL Poles is part of what they do best.

Sierra Designs' tents, apparel and equipment raise the bar in the outdoor world with numerous awards from Blue Ridge Outdoors, Outside and National Geographic Adventure magazines.
