Phil Vischer
Vischer

My Healthy Church, the source for Assemblies of God products and resources, has announced a partnership with Phil Vischer, the creator of Veggie Tales and his latest video series effort, What's in the Bible?

Vischer, who is well-known for his creative visual and vocal talents, is also recognized for being scripturally sound in his presentations. Vischer brings exceptional clarity to Scripture in the new What's in the Bible? video series. Created with pre-teen children in mind, the series also appeals to teens and even adults who desire to become more familiar with Scripture.

"What's in the Bible? is an effort to provide people of all ages a foundational knowledge of the Bible and of their faith that can launch them on a lifelong walk with God — a journey that will change them and change the world around them," Vischer said in an online post.

Justin Kochs, children's pastor for the past 9 years at Central Assembly of God in Springfield, Missouri, says What's in the Bible? is a creative video resource that he uses regularly as a fun and effective way to teach kids about the Bible.

"What's in the Bible? is a great teaching tool that explains biblical truths and difficult theological topics in a way kids of all ages can understand, while still having a great time as they learn," Kochs says. "It covers all the major Bible stories and theological issues that are important to a solid biblical foundation — it's a complete biblical teaching tool."

To announce the partnership and field questions about What's in the Bible?, Vischer will be at the 2013 General Council in Orlando. He will be making his guest appearance in the Exhibit Hall in the Children's Ministry Section of the My Healthy Church store on Thursday, August 8. In addition to offering insights to What's in the Bible?, Vischer will also be signing copies of his book, Me, Myself and Bob, as well as discussing his new online resource, JellyTelly.com — a unique interactive place for kids and parents to learn about the Bible and play online.

"Come and visit me," Vischer encourages in a video message. "Learn about JellyTelly.com. Learn about What's in the Bible? — how we can help pass on faith to our kids and raise a generation of Christian kids who know what it means to live out their faith in front of a watching world."
