A summary of major changes to happen within our training schemes

Date	Change implemented
1 April 2013	Anyone applying for a commercial endorsement to a Powerboat Level 2, Day Skipper or Advanced Powerboat course completion certificate (dated before 1 Jan 2005) must submit an acceptable first aid certificate and a marine radio short range certificate with their application.
31 March 2013	No more paper certificates to be issued for Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper and Inland Waterways practical courses. Only photo ID certificates may be issued and must be registered online.
1 February 2013	New consolidated guidance notes for recognised training centres come into effect
17 December 2012	Intermediate and Advanced Powerboat course, instructor and vessel requirements
