Guidance
Under the umbrella of its Racing Charter, the RYA produces a range of guidance booklets and notes on the Racing Rules of Sailing and the organisation of racing.
The following were available at January 2013 and are listed in four categories:

These documents will be updated and additional ones will be published as required. The guidance offered is the opinion of experts and is not a binding interpretation of the rules, nor will it be appropriate for all racing.
