ISAF Sailor Classification at Cork Week 2010
ISAF Sailor Classification

ISAF Sailor Classification

The Organisers of Cork Week have continually asked their competitors if they wish to retain ISAF Sailor Classification requirements. The overwhelming response has been positive and therefore at Cork Week 2010 the following will apply:
The ISAF Sailor Classification Code will apply for ALL Classes except Super Zero, Zero, One, Two and One Design Classes, whose Class Rules do not limit Group 3's.

With the above exceptions Group 3 Sailors are not permitted to race Cork Week 2010.

Cork Week 2010 does not restrict Group 1 Sailors in any Class.

The full Notice of Race, including amendments, for Cork Week 2010 can be viewed here:

It is essential that, with the exception of the Super Zero, Zero, One, Two and one Design Classes whose Class Rules to not limit Group 3's, all competitors at Cork Week 2010 have a valid ISAF Sailor Classification. For those competitors that have an existing Classification it is essential that they check the expiry date and where necessary renew their Classification.

It is important that competitors familiarise themselves with the ISAF Sailor Classification Code and the Frequently Asked Questions. Full information, including details on how to apply for a Classification and how to renew a Classification, can be hound here: www.sailing.org/classification

90% of all classifications are completed within 7 days. The target is to complete the remainder within 21 days dependent on the complexity of the case and how quickly the applicant corresponds with the review panel.

If a competitor is unable to login to the ISAF Sailor Classification database, has forgotten their password or is unable to reset their password, they should contact the ISAF Secretariat as soon as possible The ISAF office is open from Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm).
