Great Britain's Val MILLWARD was star of the show on day three the of Seth IFDS Multihull World Championship in Cascais, Portugal, but it is Hungary's Zoltan PEGAN who holds the overall lead.
Val MILLWARD (GBR) won the two races sailed on Thursday, whilst Zoltan PEGAN (HUN) increased his overall lead over second place Luke BARBANNEAU (GBR).

MILLWARD was really happy with her performance, "In the first two days, it looked that the sunny days and the fresh air affected my performance. I had it, and today with some excellent sailing conditions I won the two races. I will not be able to attack the title because I'm many points behind the leader."

Millward is loving the sailing conditions in Cascais, "The wind is fantastic and, during my trainings, I've already reached 11.4 knots", she said.

Hungary's Zoltan PEGAN, reigning IFDS Multihull World Champion in title, holds on to the overall lead although second and eighth place finishes on Thursday did not match his earlier consistency. However he still managed to increase his overall lead and is now eight points ahead of Britain's BARBANNEAU.

"It really surprised me having increased my lead," said PEGAN. "Tomorrow, the three races will be decisive".
