In challenging conditions in the Sydney 38 Division it was a strong result for Justin LAMBETH and his London Tavern team. Certainly they did their boat name proud last night. One costly spinnaker drop handling error robbed Shining Sea of the regatta in the first race.

Tony WALLS' Acuity continues to circulate with distinction and deserved their podium placing. There was an excellent first up result for Tom QUICK and the Outlaws and an excellent first outing for Guido BELGIORNO-NETTIS on Cydon.

Chris WAY's Easy Tiger started well on Saturday, but their third race placing of 16th derailed their regatta. Martin and Lisa HILL's Estate Master team were expected to do better in this regatta and their win the the last race put a smile back on their faces.

In the Sydney 32 Division Stan MONTGOMERY and his Mainstay team, started the Palm Beach Regatta with two wins in the heavy conditions on Saturday, then held it together with a second and a struggling seventh on Sunday to win from Martin CROSS' 'iF' .

MONTGOMERY well remembered the last major outing against CROSS, when he failed to cover in the last race to be piped on the line.

He made no such mistake this time and gained a well deserved result in this growing class.
