ANGEL Claims Title
U.S. Match Racing Championship 2005

Brian ANGEL, representing King Harbor Yacht Club, and his crew of Payson INFELISE and David HOCHART won the ISAF Grade 3 U.S. Match Racing Championship over the weekend to claim the Prince of Wales Bowl. ANGEL defeated Chris VAN TOL 3-1 in a competitive final to lift their national title.
On the final day of the Championship,
ANGEL and
VAN TOL, representing Bayview Yacht Club, both won their semi final matches 2-0 to earn their passage to the finals.
In the petit final, John LOE defeated David ROSOW Jr 2-0 to take third place.
ANGEL and his team will be the USA's 2006 representative at the semi finals of the ISAF Nations Cup to be held in the US Virgin Islands. The 2005 Champion also receives invites to the ISAF Grade 2 Knickerbocker Cup and the ISAF Grade 3 Ficker Cup in 2006.
