Too Much Wind For Most Classes
No ALT tag specified

Princess Sofia Trophy
Palma

Only the 49ers, Europes, and Ynglings raced yesterday due to strong wind conditions in Palma.
In the 49er fleet only seven boats finished and there was much equipment damamged, but the race was necessary to even out the number of races in each group for the qualifying series.

2001 Europe European Champion Sari Multala (FIN) handled the shifty, strong wind conditions the best to win the only race of the day.

Home country team Monica Azon/Diana Cuadras/Julie Garcia (ESP) scored two bullets to maintain their lead in the Yngling class.
