Three Boats Still At Sea
No ALT tag specified

Volvo Ocean Race
Cape Town

With the first five yachts in port, it is time to focus fully on the race that is still going on in the waters of the South Atlantic Ocean.
SEB and djuice are currently separated by 35 miles, which gives sufficient leverage that either of them is still a contender for the sixth place.Looking at the weather predictions, the breeze will die and shift in about 150 miles. Even though the pressure will not vary a lot in this area, the angles look better in the south. Therefore SEB is trying to get closer to djuice to have more control once they get into this area. Djuice responds and tries to keep the distance. It is likely that the decision about sixth and seventh place will be made once this area is left behind.

With Amer Sports Too another 50 miles to the south, she must not be forgotten, even though 140 miles behind. If the other two yachts get becalmed, there is still the chance that the ladies sail around the pink and green boys. Stay tuned!
