There are three levels of which are designed to develop the core skills required to coach sailing. The courses are run by ISAF Nominated Experts and may be organized in conjunction with the relevant National Olympic Committee who will be able to assist in gaining IOC Olympic Solidarity funding or directly through the ISAF Member National Authority (National Sport Federation fr Sailing).

Level 1 Technical Course for Coaches (Sailing Instructor Training) - The aim of this course is to teach the core skills of teaching sailing to new sailors. Candidates will be confident sailors who wish to pass on their knowledge and passion to others.

Level 2 Technical Course for Coaches (Train the Trainers Workshop) - This course aims to teach coaches how to develop a standardised training course in order for them to train new sailing instructors (Level 1 coaches). Candidates will be experienced level 1 coaches who wish to work towards developing their national training programme.

Level 3 Technical Course for Coaches (Race Coach Training) - The aim of this course is to teach the basic understanding of the skills involved in Race Coaching. Candidates will be confident racers and will learn to how run effective coaching sessions.
