Watersports jobs

Do you get a buzz from teaching people to sail, but want to do capsize drills in warmer waters? Do you want to windsurf after work on the latest kit? Is wakeboarding your thing and you want to pass on your knowledge to the stars of the future? We are looking for a world-class team who want to get the most out of our guests. The Beach Team in our Clubs are an integral part of our guests’ holidays, they love to quiz you for the latest tips and socialise with you at dinner.

Waterfront Manager

Management of a safe beach operation. To include staff management, revenue generation, delivery of Sunsail and RYA courses, uphold company standards. Ensure all boat maintenance is carried out in a timely manner. Ensuring that customer service is delivered to the highest levels at all times.

Assistant Waterfront Manager

Assistant to Waterfront Manager, managing all aspects of the beach operation including staff management, revenue generation and the delivery of Sunsail and RYA courses and operating standards.

Senior Dinghy Instructor

As an SI you will be assisting in the training of all watersports staff on all dinghy equipment and demonstrate how to select appropriate kit to be used for clients’ needs and skills. You will be running formal and informal instruction through structured courses and weekly clinics for all age groups. Carrying out regular boat maintenance and repair damage to crafts as directed by the waterfront manager. Run effective rescue boat cover and maintain safety of the guests and craft at all times. Carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of equipment, launch and recovery of all kit. Also the running’s of weekly Regattas and Watersports excursions and in the absence of the Waterfront Manager assume management duties.

As a watersports instructor you will be running formal and informal instruction through structured dinghy courses and weekly clinics for all age groups. You will run effective rescue boat cover and maintain safety of the guests and craft at all times and carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats. Also the running of weekly Races and Regattas and carrying out boat maintenance as directed by your Waterfront Manager. 

Kids Watersports Instructor

Our Kids Watersports Instructors provide fund and professional instruction to 5 to 17 year old children whilst ensuring a safe sailing environment. They all work as a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.

Windsurf/Watersports Instructor

As a Windsurf/Watersports Instructor you will be running formal and informal instruction through structured dinghy and windsurfing courses and weekly clinics for all age groups. You will run effective rescue boat cover and maintain safety of the guests and craft at all times and carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats. Also the running of weekly Races and Regattas and carrying out boat maintenance as directed by your Waterfront Manager. 

Trainee Instructor

As a Trainee Instructor you will assist with professional instruction to all levels whilst ensuring a safe sailing environment. You will work as part of our watersports team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.

Waterski Instructor

As a Waterski/Wakeboard Instructor you will work alongside a small team to offer formal and informal instruction to all ages and abilities. As part of the Watersports team you will also be required to assist in the daily running of the beach
 

Childcare jobs

Are you energetic, fun loving, enthusiastic and looking for a new adventure? Our resorts have Kid’s Clubs for ages ranging from 5 – 17 years. We run fun packed weeks with activities including sailing, tennis, swimming games, quizzes, arts and crafts and much more!
 
If you have NNEB, BTEC CACHE Level 3 or equivalent in childcare and want a new challenge whilst working in the sun, this might be the role for you!

Kids Club Manager

To take responsibility and drive all Shore Based Activities ensuring the professional delivery of Kids Clubs, Kids sailing, Land Sports, Spa and Merchandising. The key focus of this role is; high standard of product delivery in line with the operational policies and standards and driving revenue opportunities to meet revenue targets through out your area of responsibility.

Head of Over 5s

To take responsibility and drive all Over 5s Activities, ensuring the professional delivery of the Kids Club. The key focus of this role is; high standard of product delivery in line with the operational policies and standards.

Head Nanny

To take responsibility and drive all Nursery Activities, ensuring the professional delivery of the Nursery. The key focus of this role is; high standard of product delivery in line with the operational policies and standards.

Qualified Nanny

Our Qualified Nannies provide the highest level of care for every child from aged 4 months to 5 years. You will work as part of a large team and need to show self-motivation when required to work individually.

Activity Assistant

As an Activities Assistant you will be assisting in running the Kid's Club and evening care programme. Providing care, safety and entertainment for children ranging from 5 -1 7 years. Work as a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.

Activity Assistant/Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard/Activities Assistant you will ensure a safe swimming environment and assist in the running of the Kid's clubs and evening care programme. Providing care, safety and entertainment for children ranging from 5 -1 7 years.

Sports Coach

Providing professional varied land sports weekly program to all levels whilst ensuring a safe coaching environment. You will work as part of a team to offer a high level of customer service at all times.

Receptionist

Providing a front of house service to all of our Sunsail guests and giving information to customers and excellent customer service at all times.

Restaurant & Bar Manager

Supervise the running of the bar and restaurant operation including the taking and delivery of orders and create an atmosphere, which encourages guests to use the bar to a maximum.

Restaurant Supervisor

The restaurant supervisor are there to supervise and drive a small team to provide an efficient restaurant and bar service, whilst delivering a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner. To work as part of team both UK and local and show self-motivation when required to work individually. 

Bar Supervisor

To supervise and drive a small team to provide an efficient bar service whilst delivering a high level of customer service, in a professional and friendly manner. To work as part of team both UK and local and show self-motivation when required to work individually.

Kirki Bar/Restaurant Supervisor

The role is to supervise and drive a small team to provide an efficient restaurant and bar service whilst delivering a high level of customer service, in a professional and friendly manner. To work as part of team both UK and local and show self-motivation when required to work individually.

Bar/Restaurant Staff

To provide excellent service at the bar, in the restaurant and pool area and carry out bar work and waiter/waitress responsibilities 

Head Chef

Manage an effective and efficient kitchen operation and compile menu’s and daily specials, working within budgets and seasonal produce. Ensure the kitchen and surrounding areas comply with all company health and safety standards and is a safe environment for staff and guests.

Chef

To assist in the delivery of all meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar snacks and any special events, and provide high standards of preparation, presentation and quality of food while ensuring the kitchen and surrounding area comply with all company health and safety standards and is a safe environments for staff and guests.
 

Sunsail Yacht Jobs

Many of our Base Managers and Senior Managers started their careers on Flotilla or as Skippers and haven't looked back since.
 
Our Flotillas run from our bases in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, St Vincent, The Bahamas, The British Virgin Islands and Australia.  Our Yacht Charter bases are spread out throughout the world from the UK to the Caribbean and are positioned in some of the best sailing locations you can find.
 
For Flotilla, we recruit lead crews that consist of a Skipper, Engineer, Host and Kids Co-co-ordinator. We also recruit for Cruising instructor /Skippers, Yacht Master instructors.

Skipper 

Skippers take responsibility of yacht preparation including deck cleaning, briefing clients on safety and yacht systems also throughout flotilla/charter to be able to share knowledge of local area in briefings and advising on sailing questions. 

Engineer 

Engineers take responsibility of completing service checks, yacht preparation, deck washing, briefing of clients on boats mechanical systems and safety equipment, engine servicing such as oil and filter checks/changes, maintenance of outboards for tenders, help with emergency call outs for breakdowns on any of the fleet and safety of all clients including safety briefings.

Host

Hosts are responsible for yacht preparation/ laundry/starter packs on change over day, sharing knowledge of local area, assisting clients with problems, issue & collection of questionnaires and other relevant paperwork with clients and organising with local restaurants for group meals and activities.

Kids Co-co-ordinator 

Kids Co-ordinators take responsibility of the daily briefings, yacht preparation and organisation of kids packs on change over day, safety of all kids, Knowledge of local areas to arrange shore bases games in port, sailing knowledge / skills to create sailing related activities for all children, keeping suitable ‘Toys & Games’ on the lead yacht & preparing treasure hunts, quizzes, activates through out there holiday. Also, make/ buy prizes for kid’s prize-giving at the end of each flotilla, socialising with guests, organising group meals, BBQ’s & punch parties, with special arrangements for the children and helping with the General running of the Flotilla. 

Cruising instructor /Skippers

Cruising instructor /Skippers responsibilities are to skipper charters of up to 9 clients at a time, yacht deliveries and help, manage all outs and maintenance/ regular checks on equipment and specifically safety equipment. Also assist on base/ flotilla support when not on charter. Deliver RYA courses Run effective rescue boat cover, running of weekly Yacht Races and mini-flotillas, When on duty maintain a lookout over the whole sailing area and carry out beach duties, including rigging and de-rigging of boats and launch and recovery of all boats maintaining safety of the guests and craft. 

Yacht master instructors

Yacht master instructors Co-ordinate paperwork and instructors for all courses, Drive revenue and promote courses available within resort, Ensure yachts are clean, maintained and set up per company standards and RYA requirements, to provide support and guidance to instructors, and provide on-going training as necessary, lead and motivate the instructors and provide excellent customer service at all times.
