Ulster could be without Stephen Ferris in next season's Heineken Cup following reports the Ireland flanker is on the verge of a move to Japan.

Zebo hands Munster a boost

Munster's Heineken Cup hopes have received a boost after it was confirmed Simon Zebo is set be fit for their quarter-final clash against Harlequins.

They say there are statistics, statistics and then damn lies, but the official ERC data from the six Pool rounds in the Heineken Cup show that the majority of the highest scoring players in almost every category come for quarter-final teams.

Payne positive despite poor run

Ulster full back Jared Payne says last year's beaten finalists are determined to put a frustrating run of form behind them as they build towards a mouth-watering Heineken Cup quarter-final against Saracens at Twickenham.

Biggar boost Ospreys by signing new deal

Ospreys and Wales outside half Dan Biggar has signed on for another three seasons at the Welsh region and will remain at the Liberty Stadium until 2016.

Gustard and Baxter get England coaching calls

Saracens defence and forwards coach Paul Gustard is facing a busy end to his season after being named along with Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter as members of Stuart Lancaster's England coaching team.
