This is not a fashion statement but it pretty much does the job. It is small, accurate, and a benefit in the gym. A big plus is the lack of the chest band.
The pulse rate is read by pressing and holding a button on the side of the watch. The button is small and this can be difficult when standing and almost impossible while jogging.
Other than the "minor" complaint, my wife likes the watch and uses it every gym visit.
