Julie Powell from Bromsgrove, June Smith from Tonbridge and Robert Redshaw from London have been selected as the lucky winners of the RYA Active Marina Experience, Tullett Prebon London Boat Show 2013 prize draw.
Running throughout the show on the RYA stand, Which Marina stand and in the RYA members lounge, over three hundred people entered the free prize draw which had some fantastic Gill sailing clothing up for grabs.
Julie was the lucky first prize winner and clinched herself a Gill Coast Jacket and Trousers worth £225, with second place June winning a Gill Sail Jacket worth £145, and our third place winner Robert claiming a Gill Technical Body Warmer worth £80.
"We visited the RYA stand and thought it was very good and interesting and decided to take part in the part draw. I'm absolutely thrilled at winning my Gill sailing clothes" commented first place winner Julie.
Of her win June Smith commented: "I have never won a prize draw before so I am very excited to have won the 2nd prize, a great looking Sailing Jacket. The jacket will compliment my Gill sailing kit that I brought last season. This has made my day".
The RYA Active Marina Experience is part of the RYA Active Marine Programme designed to help people get more out of life with their boat. The programme supports marinas in organising training opportunities, cruises and social events.
