RYA Sailability National Conference 2013 

National Conference, Annual Dinner and Awards Saturday 16th February 2013 & Disability Awareness & Instructor Training Sunday 17th February 2013 Wyboston Lakes Conference Centre

For 2013 we have a great programme lined up including keynote speakers from the RYA and other industry professionals, interactive workshops, and displays from equipment suppliers and class associations. Our two course annual dinner will be taking place in the early evening with a special guest speaker and including the RYA Sailability Volunteer Awards and the new Sailability Youth awards.  This is your opportunity to nominate and thank all the hard work, commitment and inspiration from your volunteers and youth sailors.

To reserve your space at the conference, annual dinner, and training sessions please complete the booking form (available to the right in the Downloads section) and return it to Lorna Conder by Friday 25th January 2013 at the latest, along with your dietary requirements, payment and any additional requirements. Prices are available on the booking form and event poster.

New for 2013 will an extended offering of displays from equipment suppliers, class associations and other relevant suppliers.  We will also be show casing ‘practical adaptions’ for sailing. If you are interested in displaying equipment or information, or have any adaptions that you would like to showcase, please contact Lorna Conder at lorna.conder@rya.org.uk.

Volunteer and Youth Awards:-   Please find attached information on the RYA Sailability Volunteer and Youth Awards.  I would like to ask you to let me know if you wish to nominate someone you work with, or know to be considered for a Volunteer or a Youth Award.  All information on the awards and a nomination form can be found in the attached documents (see Downloads).  You all have committed enthusiastic volunteers and this is your opportunity to demonstrate your appreciation.   The deadline for nominations is: Tuesday 8th January 2013.

Accommodation:-   For those of you that would like to book accommodation at the venue, rates are available at a discounted price of £62 Inc. of Vat B&B single occupancy per room per night, and £72 Inc. of Vat B&B double or twin occupancy per room per night. To book accommodation please contact the hotel directly on 0845 2300 666 and quote reference number 49646 (which will refer you to this RYA Sailability Conference booking rate).  All rooms are on site and linked via a corridor to the main conference lounge and meeting rooms and offer full disabled access.  If you require a disabled access room please request this at the time of booking.  Participants booking overnight accommodation on site can also use the on site leisure facilities which include a spa, gym, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.  All accommodation must be paid for at your own expense.  Nearby hotels are the Travelodge and the Premier Inn.
