RYA at Scotland's Boat Show 

A weekend of firsts...

The 12 – 14 October saw Scotland’s Boat Show, the largest show for pre-owned power and sail boats in Scotland, take place at Kip Marina, Inverclyde and for the first time the RYA were there to chat with visitors about membership, offers, events and much more.  

Claire Caffrey, RYA Scotland, Marketing Officer commented:  “There is a lovely atmosphere here at the show and it is great to speaking with the members and non-members who have been visiting the stand.”  

It was another first for the RYA when it hosted its first ever RYA Gold members event in Scotland during the show. 

RYA Scotland CEO James Stuart, members of RYA and RYA Scotland staff and RYA volunteers were joined by some 80 Gold members, (RYA members who have been member for five or more years) giving them the opportunity to chat about the RYA, meet the team, as well as enjoying a wee dram of whisky!  

“This event is the perfect opportunity for us to meet our Gold members, chat with them about the RYA and hear their views, as well as providing an opportunity for us to say thank you for their continued support”, explained James.
