As one of the leading teaching establishments for sailing, Sunsail’s largest base is located on the south coast of the UK, at Port Solent and offers our full range of courses. We also offer a variety of RYA training courses in our bases around the world!
All our staff are RYA qualified and offer a professional yet fun approach to learning to sail. With us, you can get your International Certificate of Competence (ICC), RYA Competent CrewDay Skipper and Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster Coastal or Yachtmaster Offshore, with many water based and shore based options in between.

    All our Sailing School's are RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Training Centres, meaning you will recieve the highest standards. All Sunsail Instructors are RYA qualified and our yachts and bases have all passed an RYA inspection, ensuring whether it's your first time on the water or not, you will be in the best hands.

    At Sunsail’s UK base at Portsmouth Harbour on the south coast of England, our dedicated sailing school offers shore-based courses in RYA Day Skipper theory, RYA GMDSS Radio, RYA Small Craft First Aid, RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship, Diesel and Radar.
