Here’s a little taster of what’s on offer with Sunsail:
See it to ‘Belize’ it:
With one foot planted in the Central American jungles and the other dipped in the Caribbean Sea, Belize is one of a kind and home to Sunsail's newest base. Set sail on a Sunsail Belize Yacht Charter aboard one of Sunsail's new catamarans, with or without your own private skipper, and glide from one sandy palm-dotted islet to another.
Between national parks, wildlife sanctuaries and marine reserves, more than 40% of Belize is protected in one form or another, creating a haven for countless creatures of land, sea and sky. Snorkel through translucent seas, gazing at a rainbow of coral, fish, dolphins and turtles along the longest unbroken reef in the western hemisphere. Hop off your yacht on a kayak or dinghy to explore secluded cays or moor up and head ashore to explorer jungle forests and the ruins of ancient civilizations.
Don't know your port from starboard or a reef from a halyard, but quite fancy recreating Duran Duran's Rio video?
Sunsail have a simple maths equation that will get you on that yacht in no time. Four days chilling at Sunsail's Club Vounaki plus three days on a Flotilla course at Vounaki's sailing school, equals 7 days exploring the shimmering Ionian Sea at the helm of your own private yacht (Duran Duran playing in the background; optional).
Sunsail's Club Flotilla package gives even the newest of novices the chance to play Sinbad the Sailor. The Flotilla's Lead Crew, comprising of Skipper, Engineer and Hostess ensure that those newbies not quite ready to go it alone have all the support that they need. From technical issues, through to advising which bars sell the best Ouzo, the Lead Crew are on hand 24 hours a day. Each day you'll cast off alongside the rest of your Flotilla (up to 14 other yachts) and visit Fiscardo (the St Tropez of Greece), Kefalonia via the enchanting Bays of Ithaca and on to Meganissi, Levkas and Jackie O's Skorpios, all in just one week.
All abroad
Choosing a holiday that suits the whole family is a tricky task that families face year on year.Mum wants to relax, Dad wants to do something more macho and the kids just want to get away from their parents (and quite frankly, so do the parents).
So what if Mum could put her feet up and pamper herself in the spa whilst toddler is being fully entertained (for free) by a qualified nanny; Dad has finally been given his captain's hat and has taken to the seas on a yacht or dinghy (depending what size he can handle), whilst teenager is off on a bike ride or just lazing by the pool with newly made friends.
At any point family members can swap activities (minus the kids club - Dad's definitely too big for that) or come together. A modern family beach club with a traditionally Greek feel, Sunsail's Club Vounaki offers something for everyone!
