      • Michelle Nicol Get your friends and work colleagues in involved in helping you raise money too. That can be as simple as asking them to publicise or 'like' your pages on social media, having a charity fundraising day or organising something where a group of you take part and all raise money for the same cause - do a bike ride, have a bake off or a pub quiz.

      • Chris Jackson hope they get the help they think their little boy needs. sadly there are millions of us with serious and progressive or ongoing disabilities and so many need to fund their own equipment, care etc too. costs of living for people with disabilities are high and it is tough for us all. good wishes for the surgery if it turns out to be suitable

    It's been a great day for Team GB today! Congratulations to Anna Watkins and Katherine Grainger for their gold.

    We're rooting for Rebecca Adlington to take gold in the 800 metres freestyle tonight.

    Rebecca's already set herself a post-Olympics challenge. She and fellow Team GB swimmers Joanne Jackson and Ross Devenport and cycling across Zambia.
