They may not be copied, reproduced, stored, transmitted or used in any other manner than for the enrolled student’s personal study. Any other use must be expressly agreed in advance by Splash Sea School and may involve charges for the use. Materials, online access and support are intended exclusively for the student with whom we have terms of agreement, and may not be shared or resold without the express permission of Splash Sea School.
As we have a policy of continuous improvement, we reserve the right to change the materials content without notice. Full details of course contents and our products are contained in this web site. Splash Sea School aims to ensure that online materials are accessible at all times, however in the unlikely event of our servers being temporarily inaccessible, we shall endeavour to restore access as quickly as is possible and causing as little inconvenience to our clients as possible.
While every care is taken in the preparation of the materials, they are teaching materials designed to aid Students studying towards Sea School qualifications and are not suitable for use for navigation. Charts and Practice Tables must not be used for navigation.

3) REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY
Damaged goods must be notified to us by e-mail upon receipt and returned to us after giving us notice within 10 days. We will arrange replacement or refund upon their receipt.
You may cancel your enrolment within the first seven days of receiving your course sign-on or materials by notifying us of this in writing or e-mail and returning the course materials at your expense. Provided they are returned to us in good condition within 21 days of you receiving the materials, you will receive a refund of the amount paid less the costs of carriage and charges at our list price for any items missing or used. As an alternative option, you may exchange the course for another of the same value.
4) DELIVERY METHODS AND TIMING
On-line course sign-ons are sent automatically by e-mail upon enrolment. Paper course materials are despatched by courier the next business day for delivery in mainland UK within 48 hours. Other destinations may take longer – please check with us. (In event that the client's delivery address is not able to accept the courier delivery, Splash reserves the right to pass on any extra charges incurred to the client.)
Overseas deliveries are sent by Royal Mail First Class Airmail or courier, with delivery normally from 2 to 5 days. Other items are despatched normally within one business day of receipt of order. Any local import charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
5) PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed at Splash to fully respect our customers’ privacy. Regarding Data Protection, we comply fully with the 1998 Data Protection Act, and will not pass on any details such as e-mails or contact details to any other organisations. We do not store any credit card details, and any information kept is purely for the delivery of our training courses and providing our clients with information on our products and services that we feel may be of interest. Should you wish not to continue to receive such information, then please e-mail us requesting this and you will be removed from our list.
6) TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Payment
Payment is due upon enrolment. Payment by debit or credit card will first be authorised, and then charged to the card upon despatch of sign-on or materials. Payment is accepted by cheque, and goods will be despatched usually five days after receipt of the cheque. The settlement currency for all Splash Sea School goods or services is UK Pounds Sterling. Any invoices on accounts are due for settlement within 30 days from the date of the Splash Sea School invoice. Failure to settle within the time may result in revocation of sign-ons. Costs in recovering goods due to non payment will be charged to the debtor.
b) Limitation of Liability
As the specific application of the techniques described is beyond the control of Splash Sea School, the Customer will be responsible for ensuring the fitness for purpose of the Goods for the Customer’s application. To the extent permitted by law, Splash accepts no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in respect of loss, damage or expense arising from errors in information or advice provided whether or not due to Splash Sea School’s negligence or that of its employees, agents or sub-contractors.
To the extent permitted by law, Splash Sea School shall not be liable to the Customer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of any Contract with the Customer, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by the negligence of Splash Sea School, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods or their use.
The entire liability of Splash Sea School under or in connection with the Contract with the Customer shall not exceed the price of the Goods except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions.
c) Value Added Tax (VAT)
All our prices include UK VAT at 20% which is charged at the current rate at the time of supply.
