Meeting current and future business needs
Our Information Systems are central to all that we do. The department is made up of three teams:
- Information Technology (IT service delivery and IT development projects)
- Internal Compliance
- Records and Knowledge Management
Currently we are driving a large scale development programme that involves:
- Reviewing our current IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and desktops to provide an updated, robust and resilient foundation for our users.
- Replacing our legacy business applications, including the application that handles all stages of our Notification process. This will radically change the way we work, as we accommodate a new online facility that will enable organisations to submit, change, renew and pay for over 300,000 notifications electronically.
- Rolling out a new electronic document and records management solution to our users.

What skills do we look for?
Whilst experience of IT service delivery or IT programme and project management would be ideal, we also value expertise in knowledge and records management as well as internal compliance and security.
Internal Compliance focuses on ensuring that we operate within the relevant guidelines.
