YACHT SEEROSE The sailing yacht SEEROSE, a 44' Barens Seatrader steel ketch, was our home for 5 adventurous years. We cruised the Indian Ocean Islands and visited Mozambique, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya, Phuket (Thailand) and Langkawi (Malaysia). This is a narrative of our cruising life aboard.

This chronicles
our experiences whilst cruising aboard our 'home', Yacht Seerose,
a 44' Barens
Seatrader steel ketch,
for five wonderful years. We reversed the "Cape of Good Hope (Cape
Town) Cruising Route" and sailed from Durban, South Africa up the
East African coast (Mozambique Channel, Tanzania, the mystical Zanzibar Island
and Kenya), and then across the Indian Ocean to Phuket, South East Asia where
we cruised for several years in the region.
