Both MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa 3-D Transactions are now going through SecureTrading’s system as normal.

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with Verified by Visa similar to those of MasterCard SecureCode yesterday.
We will update you on the current situation on both schemes as soon as we can.

UPDATE 19:50 08/12/10:
There has been an improvement in the service we are receiving from SecureCode.

UPDATE 15:20 08/12/10:
MasterCard has now confirmed that they have an issue with their SecureCode service.

UPDATE 14:04 08/12/10:
We have spoken to our acquiring partner LloydsTSB Cardnet and they have said that merchants should not be charged the higher non 3-D Secure rate provided they are enrolled with 3-D Secure. We still recommend you confirm this directly with your acquirer.

MasterCard SecureCode is currently down. This means that all MasterCard and Maestro transactions cannot be processed via 3-D Secure. This is affecting all payment service providers and is not SecureTrading specific.
