About Us
Yellow Limited was founded in 1984 by Phil Griffiths. It has a history that is steeped in cycling and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Phil has had a successful amateur cycling career which included winning the coveted BBAR on five occasions, as well as representing Great Britain in several Olympics, World Championships and Commonwealth Games. Phil’s first venture into high end, quality cycling products was in 1984 with Assos and his great friend and mentor Tony Maier, the founder of Assos.
From its beginnings as a one man, one product operation, Yellow Limited has now grown into a company that imports and distributes six quality branded products - all of which are at the cutting edge of cycle sport technology.
ASSOS - The ultimate in cycling apparel. Assos have always been at the cutting edge of innovation, not only in the clothing that they excel at but also in other areas that have changed cycling as we know it. In the 1970’s Toni Maier had a vision to make the first Lycra cycling short and the first carbon fiber cycle frame which in turn lead him to the development of the first aero tubing for cycle frames. In the late 70’s Assos developed the world’s first anatomic skin suit, then into the 80’s Assos went on develop V-profile cycle rims and the fist sublimation print cycling jersey . In 1998 Assos took cycling shorts to another level with the introduction of the Elastic Interface, making their shorts more comfortable than ever before. This is now the benchmark for all other manufacturers. Assos continue to research the latest fabric technology to bring you the best cycle clothing possible.

PINARELLO - The making of the Pinarello began in Catena di Villorba, Italy, towards the end of the 1940's. The roots of Pinarello can be traced back to the beginning of WWII. This is when, at the age of fifteen, Giovanni began making bicycles at the factory of Paglianti. He continued making bicycles throughout his amateur cycling career. Bicycle manufacturing for the Pinarello family can be traced as far back as 1922, when Giovanni's cousin Alessandro was already making bicycles in a small factory. The beginning of this manufacturing was signified with a gold medal and a diploma in his recognition, given at the prestigious Milan Bicycle Fair of 1925. Pinarello has now grown and is one of the world’s leading bicycle manufactures, using cutting edge technology and materials to build award winning bikes such as the Prince and the new Dogma. Pinarello combine Italian style to this bend to give you the ultimate riding machine.

RUDY PROJECT - Rudy Project was founded in Treviso in 1985, immediately gaining a prominent position and establishing itself as one of the leading companies in Europe in the sporting and optical sector. The basis for this success lies in its intensive distribution network, its continued investment in targeted communication strategies and especially in its mission to concentrate on excellent product quality and on a constant search for new materials and technologies to apply to lenses and frames. For more than twenty years, Rudy Project has been designing and producing technical sunglasses, goggles and accessories for sports. Conceived initially for athletes, Rudy Project glasses rapidly became widespread amongst a vaster clientele, thanks to the combination of aesthetic features and the exceptional visual comfort and protection that they offer. All the products are distinguished by the care given to detail, both in the frames and design as well as in the lenses and materials used. Established in Treviso, where the heart of the company is still situated together with its research and development laboratory, design office, logistics centre and marketing division, Rudy Project was immediately projected onto the international scenario. Its position was consolidated through the opening of an office in the United States and the establishment of an intensive sales network spread throughout the world. As far as its distribution is concerned, the company is present to date in more than 50 countries worldwide with a large number of single-brand sales outlets, highly popular particularly in South-East Asia. Distribution is backed by targeted communication activities, concentrated especially in sponsorships within the sports world. More than ten thousand athletes world over in the most varied of disciplines are backed by Rudy Project; these include cycling, in which the Venetian company has always been the acknowledged leader, as well as golf, sailing, skating, snowboard, triathlon, cross-country skiing, racing and canoeing. Founded by the guru Rudy Barbazza and, today, managed by his sons Cristiano who is the Managing Director, and Simone, who is in charge of Marketing and Communication, the company is one of the last eyewear brands to remain totally independent, free and faithful to their original mission: that of creating technical glasses with attention to the smallest of details and subjected to the most meticulous quality control, which succeed in fulfilling the requirements of the most demanding users.
