Participation & Membership Committee Member

We are looking for new members for the Participation & Membership Committee / working groups.  The committee has a wide remit and conducts its work through two main groups focusing on Participation and Membership.  Its main responsibilities are to help develop and advise on detailed strategy, brand proposition, marketing, communication and implementation plans necessary to achieve the RYA’s strategic objectives in relation to the introduction, growth and retention of participants in all aspects of Boating and of the membership of the Association.  

Our ideal candidates will have good knowledge of sailing or boating, be forward thinking and have a passion for developing our sport and governing body.  We are seeking a range of skills to complement the existing committee members’ skill-sets, including business or marketing experience at a senior level, experience of sailing club management, development of volunteer or membership organisations, or sport development for all ages & abilities.      

This position is voluntary but expenses will be reimbursed
