Matt Grier, RYA Disability Racing Development Coach, discusses the pathway from grassroots to Paralympic sailing.
Matt Grier is responsible for helping the RYA identify potential future Paralympians and ensuring that they have the right opportunities to sail the right boats at the right time to give them the best chance of future success. Matt has developed a Paralympic Transition Squad which enables the sailors to receive top class coaching and train together at Weymouth and Portland once or twice a month.
