This scheme is organised by Bishop Skinner Marine and the policies are underwritten by leading insurers AXA. Gold members who have these policies are entitled to these extra benefits:
Yacht Insurance
- Protected No Claims Bonus
- Racing risks cover (2/3rds indemnity) on Yachts that take part in Cruising Class regattas
- Increased Medical Expenses cover from £500 to £1000
- Get You and Your Crew Home (following an accident to your boat that results in a claim on your policy and renders the boat unusable) from overseas locations – up to £1000
- Craft survey requirement deferred from 20 years to 25 years for Gold members who have owned their craft for 5 years or more
Travel Insurance
Increased cover limits on the following:
- Medical Cover to £10m
- Cancellation to £4000
- Baggage to £2000
- Money to £750
- Public Liability to £2m
