Don't miss this year's National Windsurfing Festival 

Hayling Island 07-09 September

This year’s National Windsurfing Festival (NWF) sponsored by Havant Council, will take place from the Inn on the Beach, on Hayling Island from 07-09 September.

NWF is the biggest windsurfing event in the country with its unique non intimating format designed purely for the free-ride sailor.  

The festival offers opportunities to attend on water and shorebased clinics conducted by experts including Peter Hart and Simon Bornhoft as well as the chance to demo all the latest equipment from trade show (Friday 07).  

Visitors will have the opportunity to chat with the UK’s finest sailors, attend industry presentations and enter into all the mater blasters races with hundreds of prizes on offer, plus lots more!  

The BSA (British Slalom Association) are pleased to announce that they will be supporting the festival with a junior element called Junior Turbo 15-a master blaster fleet for 15 year olds and younger.  

“The National Windsurfing Festival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our fantastic sport and with over 450 other like-minded enthusiasts!” said RYA National Windsurfing Development Officer Gillian Wright.  

“Visitors will also be able to join the RYA and speak to representatives about how to get into the sport, training, Project Windsurf-UK, Team15”.
