ISAF Sailing World Cup Regattas
The ISAF Sailing World Cup brings together the existing major regattas on the Olympic sailing circuit, starting in Australia, before moving to the USA and finishing in Europe. Over 2,000 of the world's leading sailors competed in the first season of the World Cup. By scoring competitors across all regattas included in the season, the ISAF Sailing World Cup offers the definitive guide to the best-of-the-best in the Olympic sailing world.

The first edition of the ISAF Sailing World Cup launched in December 2008. The series kicks off with Sail Melbourne, Australia, followed by the Rolex Miami OCR in the USA. Five European regattas complete the cirucit, they are; the Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofia MAPFRE, Palma, Spain; Semaine Olympique Francaise, Hyeres, France; the Delta Lloyd Regatta, Medemblik, The Netherlands; Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta, Weymouth, Great Britain; and Kieler Woche, Germany.

Competition at each World Cup regatta is open to the sailing classes chosen for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Competitions.

2011-2012 ISAF Sailing World Cup

The 2011-2012 ISAF Sailing World Cup is the fourth edition and maintains the regatta sequence used in 2010-2011. The final regatta in 2012 will be Kieler Woche in Germany. A small change to the schedule for this series brings the first regatta Sail Melbourne to November 2011.
