Beneteau is gearing up to unveil three new models at the
2012 PSP Southampton Boat Show as part of the extensive power and
sail range it will be exhibiting from 14 to 23
September.
Beneteau is taking over an entire pontoon to showcase its
inboard and outboard powerboat ranges, as well as offering a large
hospitality suite. This will effectively create an on-the-water
Beneteau village of 14 powerboats on display.
Sense 46
The sailing yachts will be on land and will
consist of 9 boats and will include the new Sense 46, expanding the
popular Sense range. This new addition will give keen sailors the
choice between four unique models (43’, 46', 50' and 55') providing
an intelligently designed, comfortable cruising monohull.
Barracuda 7
Extending its fishing range, Beneteau will
also be launching its Barracuda 7, the latest addition to the
successful Barracuda brand, which has raised the bar for sport
fishing vessels since its launch last year. The Barracuda range has
been well received by recreational fishermen around the world from
the fjords of Northern Europe, to the Mediterranean and the US
coasts.
Swift Trawler 50
Beneteau will also continue its revolution of
the trawler segment of the market with the launch of the Swift
Trawler 50. Created in 2003, the Swift Trawler redefined the
concept of the traditional trawler. Beneteau gave careful
consideration to life onboard and style, in addition to performance
and energy efficiency. Ten years after the launch of the initial
four models from 34’ to 52’ and their subsequent success, the
Beneteau Trawler 50 will also be on display at the Southampton Boat
Show.
The range on display will include a number of
the Beneteau powerboats used at the London 2012 Olympic Games. As
an official supplier to LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of
the Olympic and Paralympic Games), Beneteau provided a fleet of 23
boats worth over £4million to accommodate referees, journalists,
organisers and VIPs including royalty during the Olympic and
Paralympic Games.
“We’re looking forward to showcasing the
Beneteau range at the PSP Southampton Boat Show including some of
our Olympic legacy fleet and three exciting new models in the sail,
fishing and trawler sectors. It will provide an excellent
opportunity to see our quality boats in one venue, and our team is
proud to be exhibiting such a great selection of popular models,”
François Renault, UK Sales Manager, Beneteau, said.
