Amelie Rose and The Hungry Sailors: Reloaded

If you missed any episodes of Amelie Rose's cruise along the South Coast with ITV's Hungry Sailors Dick & James Strawbridge then the big news is that you'll now be able to fill in the blanks.

ITV are re-running the series starting this Sunday 6th May at 1610 (1710 on ITV1+1) - it's still an afternoon slot but at least now it's at a weekend and so work won't get in the way. In fact, it sounds like perfect Sunday afternoon fodder to us; snuggled up on the sofa after a lazy roast lunch, watching Amelie Rose sailing along the coastline is the perfect way to relax.

Visit Amelie Rose at the Southampton Boat Show!

Fancy climbing aboard Hungry Sailors star Amelie Rose and meeting up with her crew? Well you can! Get down to the Southampton Boat Show between Thursday 20th September and Sunday 23rd September and you'll be able to get on board, have good look around her and even chat with Skipper Nick and the rest of the Topsail Adventures crew. There may even be the chance for you to come for a little sail while we're there...

There are lots of other activities to take part in at this, the best of the boat shows, and we're really looking forward to meeting you all and introducing you to our favourite girl. Tickets will be available from the show's website and we'll keep you informed of all the news and some potentially very special offers as the dates approach.

Amelie Rose at the St Georges Trophy 2012

April 2012 had proved to be pretty typical from the weather point of view, and the 2012 running of the St Georges Trophy in Yarmouth was to offer us the microcosm of the mad month's meterology.

Amelie Rose was joined by her first tranche of guests for the weekend early on Friday. Julie, Frank and Elaine were treated to a lovely sail across to the Solent.

With a sunny Southwesterly F4-5 pushing her onwards, Amelie Rose surged across the bay - seemingly keen to meet up with the other Pilot Cutters congregating in the Western Solent.

2012: Amelie Rose's Season so far...

Wow! What a packed year it's been already, and we're barely into the second month of sailing.

Amelie Rose has been out and about; busy renewing old aquaintances and making new friends as we've sailed around the Solent and made a couple of (attempted) forays along the coast to Weymouth.

We've had every kind of weather too - from gales to Summer breezes, often in the same weekend. Read on to find out what we've been up to - and don't forget that you can be part of it too...

Over the next few Sundays ITV1 are going to be re-running "The Hungry Sailors". Starting on Sunday 6th May at 16:10 the programme stars Dick & James Strawbridge and our very own Amelie Rose (with occasional walk-on parts played by skipper Nick and crew-mate Steve) on a cruise along the South coast.

But what was it like to be involved? Along the way Nick wrote a blog during the filming of each episode and we'll be publishing each entry on our website features section just before that show is due to air.
