Personal Membership of the RYA is important for many reasons, to support the RYA and all the work it does on behalf of the recreational boating public, and to take advantage of the numerous membership benefits and services.

Now there is an opportunity to earn money for your organisation by recruiting boating people at grass roots level to join the RYA.

What is Joining Point?

Clubs, Associations, Training Centres and Commercial Organisations can recieve commission for recruiting personal members for the RYA by paying them for each new member that joins through their Joining Point.

Every quarter, we pay commission to our Joining Points on the following basis;

• £10.00 for each new Family Membership
• £7.50 for each new Personal Members
• £5.00 for each new Under 25 Member 
• £2.50 for each new Youth Member (12-17)

All our Joining Points need to do is talk to their customers about the importance of supporting the RYA and all the work it does on behalf of the recreational boating public, and the numerous membership benefits and services available.

Joining Points can encourage new members to sign up online, over the phone or on paper forms and the origin of each new member can be traced using the unique Joining Point reference.

This commission will only apply to bone fide new memberships paid at the full current subscription rates, and will be paid in full every quarter.

Upon registration, you will receive a Joining Point pack including special Joining Point leaflets, a leaflet holder, and posters to display to help you promote the scheme.
