Inland Cruisers
River
cruisers are modern sleek boats and easy to steer as they have a
steering wheel like a car. They are also come in a variety of sizes
and they have the advantage of being able to navigate most of
the UK's rivers and canals. Smaller day hire boats have less
facilities than the larger cruisers used for holidays. If it
is your first time on a river cruiser, it is a good idea to choose
a smaller narrow boat as it is easier to steer, but don’t worry,
you will soon get the hang of it.
The real joy of cruising inland waterways on a river
cruisre is stopping off and enjoying the sights, scenery and the
bountiful activities along the way…
Day Hire
Day Hire is a great way to relax with friends or
family and see what a longer cruising holiday would be like.
Day hire boats can be rented for self drive trips for a day or
evening, and you don't need any experience or qualifications. They
usuallly have toilet and simple cooking facilities, but no
sleeping accommodation. Day hire boats usually take between 6 and a
maximum of 12 passengers. This is the way many people get
hooked!
