Race Day 10 Morning Preview:

The RS:X medal races may be short but Nick Dempsey and Bryony Shaw hope theirs will be very sweet.

Both British windsurfers go into the medal races with the hopes of silverware still intact so it is set to be a very interesting couple of hours on the Nothe course.

Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell will know by the end of today what the need to do in their medal race on Thursday while the Match Race Girls get their first two best of five quarter-final matches done today.   

The 49ers are on a rest day ahead of their medal race tomorrow.

Class: RS:X Men (men’s windsurfer)
Sailor: Nick Dempsey
Medal Race: 1pm (Nothe)
Target Time: 20 minutes
Fact: Nick is 11 points clear of bronze medal position and 17 clear of fourth

Class: RS:X Women (women’s windsurfer)
Sailor: Bryony Shaw
Medal Race: 2pm (Nothe)
Target Time: 20 minutes
Fact: Bryony currently lies in seventh overall 11 points off a medal

Class: 470 Men (two-person dinghy)
Sailor: Luke Patience / Stuart Bithell
Race 9: 12pm (Portland Harbour)
Race 10: 1.30pm (Portland Harbour)
Target Time: 60 minutes
Fact: Luke and Stu sit in second currently just a point behind the Australians
