New RYA 'Home of the British Sailing Team' website now LIVE

Logon and stay tuned for the latest sailing news from London 2012

With the opening ceremony for the London 2012 Games just one week away the RYA has launched its new ‘Home of the British Sailing Team’ website which will bring you all the latest news, interviews and results from the Olympic and Paralympic sailing events.

Daily broadcasts

Everyday throughout the Games there will be two TV shows broadcast on the site keeping you up to date with all the action down in Weymouth and Portland, as well as giving you the opportunity to hear from past Olympians, the coaches and the RYA experts who support the team.

Sailor Penny Clark, who competed in the Laser Radial class at the 2008 Beijing Games, will be coming live from the Games with the day’s news, weather and results, as well as live interviews that you can’t afford to miss.  She will also be reviewing the days’ racing, getting the low down on the rules and talking boats.

You’ll also get to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes in the lead up to the Games with the RYA’s Emma Slater when she catches up with coaches, support staff and RYA experts to give you an insight into the sailors and the team.  She’ll also be chatting with some of our past Olympic sailing heroes about the history of our nations Olympic Sailing campaigns.
