RYA Case Book 2009 - 2012 

The RYA Cases are selected from the appeal cases and are intended to enhance or clarify understanding of the rules.

The complete Case Book comprises the printedRYA Case Book for 2009 - 2012 available from the RYA Shop. The RYA Appeal Case Book is available as a download. Nearly 20 years after the first publication of the RYA Case Book as a single, hard copy volume I am delighted to introduce the 21st century version. I know that different users set about finding the cases that deal with the rules that they are investigating in different ways – some from the abstracts, some from the index and some in other ways. This version will facilitate all these users;  it enables ‘one click’ links from any section of the Case Book to any other – index to cases, case to rules abstracts and so on. It will, I believe, make the use of the Case Book easier for everyone.

This version of the RYA Case Book has been developed by Michael Short, a member of the RYA Racing Rules Committee and of the RYA Case Book team, and we are most grateful for the time that he has put in to bringing this resource into the computer age for us all.
