Race Day 12 Morning Preview:

Two days, two medals coming up!

It’s the turn of the 470 Men Luke and Stuart to go for gold at Weymouth and Portland today. Guaranteed silver but they only want the top dollar!

They go into today’s race four points behind the Aussies Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page meaning they need to put one boat between them and their rivals. So even Britain 8th and Australia 10th would do just nicely for Luke and Stuart.

Britain’s Match Race Girls have to dust themselves off after their quarter-final disappointment yesterday for today’s 5-8 Sail off. The girls go head-to-head with France in a best of five first up. The other sail off will see Anna Tunnicliffe’s USA team go head to head with the Renee Groeneveld-led Dutch team. The winner of each encounter will then compete in for fifth and sixth place while the two losers will battle it out for seventh and eighth overall.

The 470 Women are on a rest day ahead of their medal race tomorrow.
