Hannah Harding crowned English National Champion 2012

Hannah made a great start to the season by winning the first major contest of the year. In great form Hannah won all her heats before laying down the highest scoring waves in the final to take the English National Champion title 2012.
Cornwall’s Watergate Bay delivered small but contestable waves and Hannah made the most of what was there to put together some good rides, winning each of her 3 heats taking her to the final. Stoked on getting that far, Hannah went one step further and after a couple of nice runners she had done enough to seal the National Championship. Super chuffed on her win, Hannah said “I felt a great rush of pride when they called me up as women’s Champ in the presentation, which just as quickly changed to nerves when I had to do a speech!”
It’s an awesome start to the season for Hannah who will be looking to retain her UK Pro Surf Tour title later this year when the events get underway.
