Take a course from the comfort of your home on the RYA's eLearning website - RYA Interactive
We know you may find it difficult travelling to an RYA Training Centre to take a theory course, so we have an eLearning website to bring the training direct to you. All you need is an internet connection.
All RYA courses and tests are run through RYA recognised training centres. To take an online course on www.ryainteractive.org you must first find an Interactive Training Centre who you pay and take your online course with. Your training centre will keep up to date on your progress throughout your course and will be on hand to offer any assistance needed by email or phone.

Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR)
A compulsory online course for new and revalidating RYA Commercial Endorsement holders applicable from April 2012. Course price is £31(+VAT). Please contact your chosen Training Centre for instructions as to how to pay and start the course.
Training Centres who offer the PPR course - Chose and contact a Training Centre recognised to offer this online course. You do not need to travel to the Training Centre and if you require help, you can easily contact their instructor via phone and email. You print out your PPR certificate when you complete the online assessment at the end of the online course.

The Essential Navigation and Seamanship course
A beautifully designed interactive course for new and improving boaters. Modules include Passage Planning, Tides, Weather, Electronic Navigation, Anchoring, Pilotage, Charts, Safety, Navigation, Rules of the road and Buoyage.

The CEVNI test
Anyone requiring an International Certificate of Competence valid for inland waters must pass The CEVNI test. You can practise the test for free on RYA Interactive before enrolling with one of our test centres for the real test.

* Please note RYA Interactive online courses do not replace the Distance Learning courses which some of our centres offer. Distance Learning refers to courses which are run to our standard syllabus and use our assesment papers, but the delivery method and teaching materials have been devised by the individual training centres. Courses may be offered in any format including CD-based tutorials or online learning.
