RYA Catamaran National Youth Squad Head Coach
Could you deliver a well-planned and structured programme to our young GBR Catamaran sailors?
The RYA is looking to contract a Catamaran National Youth Squad Head Coach to oversee the World Class RYA Volvo Catamaran National Youth Squad Programme for around 40 days per year, though fewer or additional days may be considered should this be more suitable to the right candidate.
The RYA Catamaran National Youth Squad Head Coach is responsible for delivering the RYA Volvo National Youth Squad training programme, which includes overseeing a squad of GBR Catamaran sailors, supporting and advising them and their parents as well as managing a team of assistant coaches. The RYA Catamaran National Youth Squad Head Coach will be supported and Managed by the RYA Double Handed Pathway Manager and supported by appointed RYA Performance Specialists including the RYA Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Sports Psychologist and Meteorology Specialist to maximise sailor development.
The RYA Catamaran National Youth Squad Head Coach should liaise closely with the RYA Double Handed Pathway Manager, the UK Catamaran Class Association, Class Coordinator(s) and the RYA Youth Racing Senior Administrator. The RYA National Youth Squad Head Coach's main responsibility is to deliver a well-planned and structured RYA Volvo Catamaran National Youth Squad Programme to the standards agreed with the RYA Double Handed Pathway Manager and the Catamaran Class Steering Group such that as many sailors as possible progress and make successful transitions in the RYA Olympic Development Programme.
