Are you looking to further your career as a physical activity leader or wanting to try something new in a sporting field?
Would you like to be paid whilst earning a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)?
Following the success of our previous vocational programme, where we placed over 250 new staff in to primary schools across the UK, we are now inviting applications from those looking to work in physical education and school sport.
As well as achieving a recognised qualification, you will also gain invaluable experience as your placement will involve working in Primary Schools, assisting with PE lessons as well as delivering extra-curricular activities. Added to this you will be promoting the benefits of being physically active to the children whilst acting as a positive role model for them. There is also the opportunity to earn additional income through delivering additional activities.
If you are interested in working in sport and with children then this year long apprenticeship scheme could be perfect for you. At the end of the year you will have a NVQ, hundreds of hours experience working with children in a sporting environment, plus the opportunity of further training with a forward thinking company. You will also be paid an apprenticeship wage whilst you train.
Applicants can have a background/interest in any sport, but must be happy to deliver a wide range of sports and activities. We are looking for people who want to make a career in Physical Education and Sport and will work hard to ensure they progress quickly. There will be employment opportunities at the end of the apprenticeship for those who impress and make the most of this great opportunity!!
