Job Description

Northampton Saints is now accepting applications to join its Club Apprenticeship Scheme, which won the Innovation Award at the 2012 All Party Parliamentary Premiership Rugby Community Awards.

Northampton Saints is one of the UK's most successful professional sports clubs, both on and off the field.

Heineken Cup finalists in 2011, LV=Cup winners in 2010 and Amlin Challenge Cup winners in 2009, the club is home to six members of the current Senior England Elite Player Squad and international players from across the globe.

Off the field Northampton Saints is unique as a sports club which has generated profits each year for over a decade, and for over 130 years has been at the heart of Northampton's community. Fresh from winning the Innovation Award at the recent All Party Parliamentary Premiership Rugby Awards, the Saints' Club Apprenticeship Scheme has been expanded for the 2012/13 season.

The Club Apprenticeship Scheme offers a part time wage and employment, and provides a number of qualifications. All Apprentices must be aged 16, 17 or 18 years old on 10th September 2012, and able to commit to a minimum of 25 weeks of employment, based around 3 days of work per week.

Each apprentice will begin their employment with a 2 week trial period. There will be an opportunity to extend the length of employment after the completion of the qualifications, this will depend on their performance throughout their Apprenticeship.
