The web producer is a crucial role and is the keystone to the success of a digital project. Wickedweb is seeking a producer with strong knowledge of web technologies and standards (HTML, HTML5, CSS, WC3, Flash, Java etc), with a solid focus on project delivery. An understanding of structured methodologies is required.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential, as are effective written and verbal abilities. This is a busy role, with the requirement to work on several projects at the same time with an ability to prioritise. A capability to cope under pressure is a must, so we are looking for someone with outstanding time management and organisational skills.
An innovative thinker, you will also be someone with wireframe creation skills using software such as Visio, OmniGraffle, Axure etc.
Ultimately, Wickedweb are looking for a producer that is impressive and confident when communicating with clients but is also focused on building internal relationships with key members of our talented team in order to get the job done.
This role includes:
- Website content - create, edit and arrangement of text, images, audio and video.
- Website content presentation and page layouts.
- Information architecture, user experience and usability
- The ability to storyboard
- Creation of wireframes and necessary documentation.
- Working with design, front and back-end development teams to translate business requirements.
- Create technical specifications.
- Project scoping.
- Ensuring all work is produced to best practice standards and guidelines.
- Keep up to date with the latest web technologies, platforms and trends.
