Service Update Latest

Global Priority service to Russia
Extraordinary demand for all distribution services to Russia has caused considerable pressure on air services and customs clearance. Unfortunately this has resulted in delays to our normal service to the entire country and it is with regret that we have had to suspend our delivery guarantees for Global Priority until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are endeavouring to provide as near normal a service as possible.

Potential Email Scam
We have been made aware of a specific email scam, whereby individuals are being sent an email reporting to be from Parcelforce Worldwide. This requests that they make payment to receive delivery of their parcel. This could be as a result of an individual expressing of interest in buying an item advertised on the internet. THIS EMAIL IS NOT FROM PARCELFORCE WORLDWIDE. WE WOULD NEVER SEND UNSOLICITED EMAILS TO CUSTOMERS REQUESTING PAYMENT LIKE THIS.

If you are at all suspicious upon receiving such an e mail, you should report it to the appropriate website and if necessary also to the Police. We would advise the recipient of any unsolicited email to never open any links or attachments contained within it, but instead visit the website of the organisation concerned.  Further help on Internet security issues can be found at www.getsafeonline.org.

Important note: Printing of shipping labels
WDM Online uses Adobe Reader to display shipping labels and collection manifests for printing. A problem had been identified with the 10.1.2 version released by Adobe w/c 9th January which caused them to not display correctly and as a result they could not be printed. This problem has now been fixed, with Adobe advising customers to download version 10.1.3 from their website. If you are still experiencing problems printing your labels, please ring the helpdesk who will help you resolve the issue.

Syria

The continuing unrest means that we have had to stop accepting our globalexpress service to Syria as we are unable to guarantee the delivery at the moment.  Any items sent by globalexpress to Syria will have to be returned to sender.  Our globalpriority service to Syria remains in place, although some delays to the normal delivery guarantees may be encountered.  We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Libya
With the exception of globalexpress which remains suspended, all other services to Libya are now re instated and available.

Japan
Following the widespread disruption caused by the massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami in the northeast of Japan, there has been widespread disruption.

  • globalexpress – our partner has resumed services to all of eastern Japan, including Fukushima, Miyagi and Ibaraki prefectures. However, due to damage to roads and infrastructure, some locations in those prefectures are still inaccessible. As a result, we are offering customers in those affected locations the option to pick up or drop off their packages at designated facilities.
  • globalexpress - The money back guarantee does not apply to those shipments which have been tendered to us and are impacted by the service disruption. However, as our services in all of eastern Japan have now returned to normal, the money back guarantee is applicable to all shipments to be tendered.
  • globalpriority - Inbound operations at each airport (including NRT) are now operating normally and all Offices of Exchanges are operating well. Japan Post are making every possible effort to deliver to the addressees in the affected areas.
