The Regatta Committee

The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta is the second largest Regatta in the UK, and one of the largest free public events anywhere in the country.

The Royal Regatta is organised by a committee of local volunteers, and is only made possible by the financial investment of the many Sponsors and Advertisers, and through the generous donations by visitors to Dartmouth during the Regatta week.

Led by its Chairman, Hilary Bastone, ably supported by Vice Chairman Jonmathan Hawkins, Secretary Tracy Rowe and Treasurer Elaine Gilbard, the committee includes nearly 50 people who donate their time to organising and planning Regatta in the 12 months running up to the event.

As the Regatta draws to a close on the Saturday evening, so planning will already be starting for the next Royal Regatta.
