River Kelvin

Glasgow's "other river", the Kelvin is a pleasant green corridor through this hectic city which offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking.

Just 22 miles long in its entirety, the Kelvin flows from the infamous Dullatur Bog into northern Glasgow, meeting the River Clyde just west of the city centre. The well-maintained Kelvin Walkway and Kelvin Cycleway follow the urban river, through municipal parkland and past old railway viaducts.
