Volunteering Guidelines

Having the right people to do the right jobs is essential for the smooth running of sailing sessions and most clubs do rely heavily on volunteers for on water based and on shore activities.

Taking this into consideration we produced a series of information sheets to help with managing your club volunteers.

Along side this it is ideal that volunteers helping with activities for disabled sailors have some awareness about disbailities.

With this in mind Sailability have an awareness training course available to clubs and their volunteers, helping to change attitudes and awareness throughout the sailing community.

To find out further details about the RYA Sailability Disability Awareness Training scheme, how to become an authorised centre or Sailability Disability Awareness Instructor please follow the link to right of this page.
