1    Introduction

1.1  This Privacy Policy sets out how waterscape.com, British Waterways' leisure website, whose registered address is at 64 Clarendon Road, Watford WD17 1DA, United Kingdom  (“Waterscape”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles the data which identifies users of its website (“user”, “you”, “your”).  This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with the Waterscape Terms and Conditions , of which this Privacy Policy forms part.

2    Information Collection and Use

2.1  In order to use certain functions or recieve certain information on the website, you must first register or enter your details.   When you register or enter details, you complete a registration form and provide your name, a valid email address and certain other personal and contact details (“Registration Information”).   The Registration Information enables us to provide you with information in which you have expressed an interest.   We may use your Registration Information to contact you either to fulfil a specific request or to verify any information supplied by you.   We will only contact you on unrelated matters if you consent to us doing so on the registration form.   You may withdraw this consent by following the instructions at the bottom of each email communication.

5   Surveys and Competitions
