Wildlife along the Regent's Canal

The canal provides a haven for wildlife in an otherwise built up environment, with native and migrating birds using the waters. Bats have also been seen feeding over Battlebridge Basin on the canal.

The Camley Street Natural Park, created on the banks of the Regent's Canal, features a pond, meadow and woodland. It provides a natural environment for birds, bees, butterflies, amphibians and a rich variety of plant life.
